asiainnova Smart Cities in Asia: Opportunities for Valencian companies and institutions. Asia Innova is the main program of Casa Asia dedicated to publicizing the progress in the scientific and innovation field in the Asian region. This year celebrates for the first time a part of its program in Valencia, fruit of the agreement signed between the València City Council and Casa Asia for the promotion of relations between Valencia and Asian countries in various fields. In view of the enormous progress made by the main Asian countries with regard to the application of technology in cities to make them more efficient, efficient and economically sustainable and competitive, the existing opportunities for companies (especially startups) of València are huge Thus, the main Asian cities need solutions and seek international collaboration in areas such as urban transport, the application of ICT, energy efficiency, or management of public services. With this motive, the City Council of Valencia and Casa Asia, organize a day on the innovation in the field of smart cities in Asia, with a special focus on opportunities existing for startups. The day will be divided into two round tables that will feature the presentation of experts Asians of recognized international prestige in the Smart Cities sector and the sector of start-ups from China, India and Korea, together with the main actors of both sectors in Valencia.
