Valencia will show the potential of its Startup Ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

• •VIT Emprende, Las Naves, Plug and Play Spain, Demium Startups, Socialnest, Bbooster, Climate-KIC Accelerator, StartupXplore, Big Ban Angels and GeeksHubs compose the Valencia delegation that will participate at 4 Years From Now (4YFN), the startup business platform of MWC.
• Valencia is the only city that participates as innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem in this international event.

Valencia will exhibit the potential of the innovative ecosystem of the city during this global event that will take place next from 22-25 February 2016 welcoming more than 90,000 attendees.

For the first time a delegation of the Startup Scene composed by public and private institutions will participate at this third edition of 4YFN which is expected to reach 12,000 attendees and brought together more than 500 investors.

Among the 400 exhibitors of the 4YFN, Valencia is the only city to attend together with different organizations representing its ecosystem with the common aim of showing Valencia as the perfect city to start a project and invest.

VIT Emprende is the network of innovative entrepreneurs in Valencia within the InnDEA Fundation, that along with Las Naves will represent the public administration and will share exhibitor with all the accelerators, incubators, coworking spaces and investor entities of the city.

The Valencia delegation will be composed by the accelerators Plug and Play, Demium Startups, Socialnest, Bbooster, Climate-KIC Accelerator and Lanzadera that will also have an own space for their startups. In other hand, StartupXplore and Big Ban Angels will represent the investor community, and finally GeeksHubs will be explaining the digital talent that emerges in the city. Moreover, in this global meeting point that will join startups, investors and big corporates will also take part eight members from #ComunidadVITe that has already more than 2.000 subscribers.

The InnDEA Foundation director, Rafa Monterde has explained that this forum represents a “cluster of ideas and proposals” perfect to capture technological trends and solutions that could be applied in the city. Also, Monterde has reported that the Valencia ambassadors will use this space to show the innovative and entrepreneurial potential of the city, attract investment, retain talent and be a center of attraction to entrepreneurs.

During the event and using the claim #StartItInValencia it will be announced the main reasons that make Valencia an attractive city to live, run a company and invest. A city with a rich and dynamic ecosystem and many success cases that reinvest in a community increasingly consolidated.
