OPEN CALL FOR 4YFN

Vit Emprende, from València Activa, announces a competition to select members of the innovative ecosystem to be part of the stand that will be available in Barcelona during the event 4 Years From Now (4YFN) of the Mobile World Congress, which will be held from 24 to 26 February 2020.

This call is an initiative that responds to the institutional desire for the stand to be a space that makes visible the entrepreneurial fabric that València offers, particularly to startups, and thus generate a demand for companies from ALL over the world to set up and develop their activity in our city. 4YFN of the Mobile World Congress is one of the most important international events in the startup sector.

This next edition, 4YFN will count with representation of more than 200 countries, being consolidated as an event of reference for entrepreneurs, as well as for digital and technological emerging companies in the framework of the GSMA Mobile World Congress. Requirements to apply for the call:

To be an entity that facilitates startups within the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship in Valencia. Facilitating entities are: accelerators and incubators, startup associations, investment or sectorial.

Being part of the VIT Emprende network. The representatives of the entities requested can/should register, free of charge, at the following link:

To have fiscal and/or social domicile in the city of València.

Not to count, until now, with representation in the event.

How, where and when to send the application:

All the information requested must be sent to the postal address: 

vitemprende@valenciactiva.es until Friday 10 January 2020 at 12 noon, specifying the following data:

Name of the entity

Names and surnames of potential travelers.

Position they occupy in the entity

CNAE of the entity

E-mail, telephone and complete address of the entity

Proposal for participation, including the information detailed below and attaching the corresponding ones:

Number of startups supported during 2018.

Facilitation and/or aid programmes for startups during the year 2019.

Relationship of collaborations with public and/or private entities, lucrative or not, of open call to members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city.

Present the requested demonstrative documents.

Letter of commitment, signed by a representative of the entity, accepting participation in the event under the following terms:

Availability to stay at the fair on the days of the event.

To provide the necessary resources for the displacement, lodging and maintenance of the people of the entity that will travel to the event.

Deliver an evaluation report on the attendance to the event.

Selection criteria:

For the configuration of the València Activa stand, a distribution will be established between the different agents that is as representative as possible of the city's innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem. The following criteria will be taken into account:

Support for the creation, acceleration and/or consolidation of startups during 2019.

Commitments acquired with the city of Valencia.

Endowment:

The selected facilitating entities will have a space within the stand. The corner of each entity will be equipped with:

Logo and slogan printed to identify the entity

two stools

a wardrobe

individual illumination

electrical panel with multiple plugs

public wifi

access to the common area of the València Activa stand.
