From the 'corporations' to the events: a 2020 to strengthen the ecosystem 'startup' of Valencia

Valencia continues to make merits to consolidate itself as one of the main Spanish and European hubs and, 2020, will be the year to harvest some of the fruits sown in recent months. The city continues to be the first in startups per capita in Spain and the direct employment generated by these companies already exceeds 4,500 people, 125% more than in 2018.

In spite of being the third city in Spain with the most start-up technology companies, there is still a long way to go to get closer to the most consolidated poles in the country, Madrid and Barcelona. However, more and more references of the sector in the European area look at Valencia as an incipient pole thanks to the insistent work of the companies, in addition to the work done by the Valencian Association of Startups and the local administration through València Activa or VIT Emprende and regional institutions such as Ivace.
