DKV and Impact Hub seek social innovation projects that address health and environmental challenges

The insurer DKV, in alliance with Impact Hub Barcelona, has opened the second edition of its DKV Impacta program. The objective is to finance innovative initiatives in the health sector. The call is aimed at startups and social entrepreneurship entities that respond to problems in these two areas:

• Environmental degradation and the effects of climate change on people's health. Diseases and pathologies directly related to biodiversity loss and climate change.
• The prevention of any type of disease that has a more direct impact on groups in social exclusion and vulnerability: people with disabilities, women, children and adolescents/youth at risk, immigrants, the elderly or prisoners.

The deadline for submitting applications is open until May 1, through the web.
