Investment in startups multiplies in Valencia in the first half of the year

Investment in emerging companies or 'startups' multiplied in the first half of 2022 to 53.9 million in Valencia, representing a growth of 312%.

Spanish startups attracted 1,971.7 million euros in investment in the first half of 2022, 8.4% less than the 2,152.8 million reached in the same period of 2021 in an economic context marked by the outbreak of war in Ukraine and inflation.
