The UV Science Park will incubate seven innovative companies in VLC/Startup

The sixth edition of VLC/Startup, the innovative entrepreneurship programme of the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation (FPCUV), will allow seven innovative and/or science and technology-based business projects to be developed over a year and a half in the environment of the academic institution. The startups and spin-offs selected will have work spaces located in the business area of the science park, as well as advice to ensure that their project continues to grow.

In this new edition of VLC/Startup, the PCUV will provide the winning companies with five spaces in the Semilleros Empresariales (Business Seedbeds) - coworking spaces located on the Tarongers and Burjassot-Paterna campuses -, an office and a laboratory. In total, up to seven companies will be set up in the Science Park to develop their innovative projects, as has been the case in the five previous editions with firms such as Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence or Doitplenoptic, biotechnological companies that are still located in the park today.
