Plug and Play to launch funds from Valencia to invest in European startups

Plug and Play, an innovation platform for corporations and startup acceleration programmes, will manage from its headquarters in Valencia the launch of funds to invest in European technology. This is according to Alberto Gutiérrez, co-founder of the platform, which already has around a hundred employees in Valencia.

Plug and Play's business model for more than a decade has been to invest directly with the capital of the Amidi family. "In the last 15 years we have invested in 1,800 startups and there are 39 unicorns. We have been early investors in companies like Dropbox, N26 or Paypal," he says.
