The Valencian company Streamloots closes a round of 4.7 million with the entry of the CEOs of Shopify and Yelp

The Valencian startup ecosystem continues to accumulate investment successes during 2020. On this occasion, the credit goes to the technology company Streamloots, which has closed an investment round of 4.73 million euros - 5.6 million dollars - with the aim of continuing to grow and attract professional talent to its company. This is their first major round of financing (Series A) in which they have counted on the American venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners - led by Jeremy Levine - and prominent business angels including Tobi Lutke, CEO of Shopify; Jeremy Stoppelman, CEO of Yelp; Lazarte Brothers, founders of the Wildlife Studies; Eric Baker, CEO of Viagogo, and Li Jin, the world's largest representative of the Creators Economy.

Through its platform, the Valencian company allows eSports players to sell interactions through surprise chests with their fans, from playing a game with them, to receiving a lesson via skype or having the player sing live or play dressed as a dinosaur. The company's mission, until now, was to get streamers to monetize their activity thanks to their solution and to turn their hobby into a business. A round of investment that reinforces the arrival of large international funds to Valencian companies in a record year.
