Valencia unveils its innovative ecosystem at Web Summit Lisbon

A representative delegation of the Valencian technology ecosystem formed by Invest in València, Startup Valencia and Social Nest Foundation has presented the opportunities in the technology sector of the city of Valencia at the major event in technology worldwide, Web Summit Lisbon, held between 1 and 4 November at the Alice Arena in Lisbon. Invest in València, Startup Valencia and Social Nest Foundation took part in a round table discussion with Nacho Mas (CEO of Startup Valencia), Margarita Albors (founder and president of Social Nest Foundation) and María Escartí (director of Invest in València).

The main objective of this event, according to María Escartí, the director of the Invest in València office, is: "to raise international awareness of the city of Valencia and promote it as the main focus for investment and talent, and what better place to do this than at the Web Summit". He also highlighted the activity carried out by the Invest in Valencia office, pointing out that: "all these operations represent more than 1.53 million of investment in the city and the creation of more than 400 jobs for the coming years".
