Valencia redirects 450,000 euros from the Webit to subsidizing technological projects
Valencia City Council is allocating 450,000 euros from the Webit event to a call for subsidies for the development of pilot projects for solutions, products, services and initiatives, based on science and technology, that offer tools and facilitate the economic recovery of different sectors to adapt them to the new context generated in the post-Covid scenario.
In May 2019, Valencia was announced as the venue for this year's Webit digital festival from 17 to 20 June, which attracts an entire international community of innovators, entrepreneurs and investors. However, due to the pandemic, the City Council formally waived its right to host the next three editions.
