This year will see the 15th edition of the event, which will bring together over 25,000 of the world's brightest minds from more than 120 countries to explore the role that technology will play in the collective future.

It is an annual event geared towards the future of technology, where conferences, discussion and debate panels, workshops and events are held in parallel, all in relation to the rapid evolution of technology and the questions that will arise over the next ten years. A series of predictions are made, discussions are held from different perspectives and the future is invented, but this year and due to the pandemic we are suffering from, it will be via streaming and online connection.

VIT Emprende, in collaboration with SocialNest Foundation, is making available to the startups of the Valencian ecosystem the possibility of attending the event virtually, with the advantages that this will bring to the 12 selected startups.

To be eligible for this call, startups must meet the following requirements:

- Be a member of the VIT Emprende network prior to submitting the application.

- The startups must be constituted before the presentation of the application and have a business history of at least 24 months.
Have participated in some round of investment, and have raised at least 500.000€*
- To be an intensive startup in technology development and application.
- That its fiscal address is in the municipality of Valencia or that it can prove that it has participated in an innovative and/or technological incubation or acceleration programme, whether public or private, in the city of Valencia.
- They must have their products and/or services active on the market so that they can exhibit them on the virtual stand.
- Not have, up to now, representation at the event.
- Those startups that aim to generate a positive impact on both a social and environmental level (companies that offer solutions against climate change, companies based on the circular economy, companies in the health sector, companies in the field of education, and/or those that facilitate access to products or services for vulnerable groups), as well as those that have social responsibility/sustainability policies, will be positively assessed. 

* The startups that meet this requirement will be the priority ones when it comes to being selected.

Selection criteria:

The selection of the startups that will be able to access and attend the TNW virtual event will be carried out by the technical staff of the Entrepreneurship Section of the Fundación Valencia Activa, according to the following criteria

- Fulfilling the requested requirements
- Degree of innovation and differentiation of the solution(s) and/or products presented
- Valuable which has attracted private investment or is in the process of attracting investment of an equal or greater amount than required.

1. Name of startup
2. Name and surname of the people who will attend the virtual event.
3. Positions held in the entity
4. CNAE of the entity and date of incorporation
5. E-mail, telephone and complete address of the entity
6. Census registration of the company that proves the age of this
7. Send the logo in vector format (png or similar)
8. Letter of commitment, signed by a representative of the entity, accepting participation in the event under the following terms:


- Availability and commitment to attend the fair/event on the two days it is held
- Deliver an evaluation report on attendance after the event

The list of beneficiary startups to have access to the event will be published on September 18.
