VIVES EMPRENDE

Advice and training for entrepreneurs to facilitate access to the job market for unemployed people.

Vives Emprende is part of the intervention strategy of Acción contra el Hambre in the field of employability in Spain and specifically in the Valencia Region, whose general objective is "to facilitate access to the professional world of unemployed people through the improvement of employability and the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills".

This programme offers advice, training and access to finance (microcredits, loans, crowdfunding, subsidies...) so that they can make their entrepreneurial idea a reality.

Purpose:

The Vives Emprende Programme is a training and consultancy programme for entrepreneurs that covers the main aspects for starting up and the first steps of a company, with the aim of encouraging participants to acquire, update and improve technical knowledge for starting up and developing a business initiative.

Specific objectives:

Promote the acquisition and training of key technical and entrepreneurial skills to set up a business project.
To train and advise the participants in the generation of their business models promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship at both group and individual level.
Accompany people in the development of self-employment initiatives, reinforcing the implementation of the entrepreneurial project.
The training programme is divided into different sessions which cover each of the essential areas of the company and which, in turn, are linked to the basic structure for the definition and development of a business initiative, Business Model and Business Plan.

Specifically, the following modules are established:

DESIGN THINKING AND BUSINESS MODEL
MARKETING AND SALES MANAGEMENT
RRHH, LEGAL ASPECTS AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT
ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND SEARCH FOR FINANCING
EFFECTIVE ORAL PRESENTATION AND PRESENTATIONS
In addition to the theoretical-practical sessions, other sessions of accompaniment and mentoring will be developed, in which a tutor will be assigned for each of the participating projects.

Calendar and venue of the course

The sessions will last 4 hours each, in the mornings from October to December 2019 and will be held in Valencia.

Certificate of achievement.

Once the training has been completed, the student body will be given a certificate of achievement, provided that most of the programme has been attended and that the Business Model and Business Plan are presented as deliverable work within the corresponding deadline.

This activity is circumscribed within the actions programmed by Vives Emprende co-financed by the European Social Fund within the Operational Programme for Social Inclusion and the Social Economy (POISES) 2014-2020, and is co-financed by Bankia in action. The training is provided by the European Centre for Innovative Enterprises (CEEI) in Valencia.

Limited places for a maximum of 35 participants, starting Programme sessions on 22 October 2019.

VIVES Emprende is a programme that has already been carried out in 8 Autonomous Communities (Andalusia, Asturias, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia and Navarre) and arrives for the first time in the Valencia Region.
