Call for Startups Forinvest 2023

As has been customary for years, the València Activa Foundation will participate in the Innovation & Tech Forum, within the Forinvest 2023 Fair, which takes place in Valencia on 8 and 9 March 2023.

Through the VIT Emprende Network, a call has been launched to select 15 innovative business projects from the Valencian ecosystem, to allow them to have their own exhibition space, which will allow them to publicise their projects and establish relationships and contacts.

Forinvest is a national reference fair, the largest financial-business networking space in the country, with more than 15 years spreading financial culture. An event in which the best experts will reflect on the present and future of the sector.

Endowment

Each selected startup will have:

• An exhibition space of approximately 5m2.
• Backlit.
• Carpeting, lighting and furniture: 1 table and 2 chairs.
• 1 invitation to the Finance Night.
• 1 parking space.

Eligibility requirements

• Be part of the VIT Emprende network. Applicants must be registered and/or register, free of charge, at the following link.
• Have fiscal and/or social domicile and/or residence in the municipality of Valencia or accredit having participated in an innovative entrepreneurship and/or technological incubation or acceleration programme, public or private, in the city of Valencia.
• The companies and/or professionals must be constituted prior to the submission of the application.
• Have their own active products on the market or at a very advanced stage in order to be able to exhibit them at the stand.
• They must fill in the general application form confirming the requirements and attach all the required information.
• Priority will be given to projects in the following sectors: finance, economics, insurance, fintech, insurtech and artificial intelligence.

The call for entries is open from 15 February until 22 February 2023 at 12 noon. Through the registration form you have the possibility to provide all the necessary information about your proposal for the Fair and about the fulfilment of the following requirements:

1. Name and CNAE of the entity.
2. E-mail, telephone and full address of the entity.
3. Contact person (name, telephone and e-mail).
4. Names and surnames of the possible persons who will participate in the stand, and the position they hold in the organisation.
5. Descriptive information about the company and the products to be exhibited at the stand. Max. 60 words, in Spanish, Valencian and English.
6. Backlit design: the print area is 2.45m x 1m, however, there must be 5cm more on the four sides, without print image as these 5cm on each side are not illuminated, it is the frame of the stand. For this, we need your logo with the highest resolution you can print it, in .png or .ai format.
7. Please submit the requested supporting documents. In the case of the address and date of registration of the activity (certificate of census status, 036 or 037, etc.).
8. Letter of commitment, signed by a representative of the entity, accepting participation in the event in the following terms:
   1. Willingness to remain at the fair on the days the event is held during the opening of the site to the public.
   2. To provide the necessary resources for the travel, accommodation and meals of the people from the organisation who will be travelling to the event.
   3. Subsequent delivery of an evaluation report on attendance at the event.

Selection criteria

The selection of companies and professionals to have a stand at Forinvest 2023 will be carried out by the technical staff of Entrepreneurship of the València Activa Foundation, according to the criteria listed above.

The rest of the candidatures will remain in reserve, and may be incorporated into the stand in the event of any voluntary resignation among the selected companies and professionals.

Communication of the selection

The decision on the selection of participants will be published on the vitemprende.es website and we will contact the beneficiary companies/professionals.

They will be informed of the characteristics of the space (m2, access to electricity, etc.), once they are informed that they have been selected.
