The vehicle driven from Valencia First Drop VC already has the authorization to invest as a fund, which allows it to operate internationally in the search for impact companies in the preseed stage. Focused on investing in startups linked to the fulfillment of the SDGs, it has chosen one of the world's leading financial centers: Luxembourg.
"Luxembourg was chosen because of the legal security it provides and because it is one of the world's leading places for the creation of investment vehicles. On the other hand, we were looking for an international distribution of the fund and efficient corporate structures. Among the alternatives that existed, we opted for a SIF structure", explains Manu Nieto, co-founder together with Alejandro Valero, and also co-founders of Alma Capital Partners.
