eKuore opens a financing round worth 1.5 million euros

The Valencian company eKuore launches a round of investment of 500,000 euros through the Capital Cell platform to complete a round of 1.5 million euros, which already had the support of the Smart Fund of Banco Santander with the remaining million euros in loan format. The campaign, which has special conditions during the first two weeks of the launch, is for any type of investor, as the minimum contribution is EUR 100.

eKuore's proposal is based on creating a system that allows for the early detection of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and murmurs in pediatric cardiology, through an algorithm that recognizes auscultation obtained with the company's digital stethoscope. Rubén López, eKuore's CEO, states that "the purpose of the company with this round of investment is to accelerate the project to introduce a pre-diagnosis system into the market that will allow the doctor to be warned of a disease up to two years earlier than with current processes".
