Iker Marcaide: "Entrepreneurial adventure is now appreciated in Valencia".

Iker Marcaide is little known to the general public, but in entrepreneurial environments such as the recent South Summit in Valencia, his surname resonates as a reference, on a par with Juan Roig, a widely recognised patron of the arts. 

In 2009 he founded the company Flywire between Valencia and Boston, and led it as CEO until December 2013. The company is a world leader in international education payments and has been the first company of Spanish origin to be listed on the Nasdaq, the first New York Stock Exchange.
