KM Zero increases the international reach of its venturing program and introduces 20 new foodtech startups

KM Zero Venturing increases its international scope in its second edition, which has started with the presentation of the 20 foodtech startups that will be part of this pioneering program in open innovation for the food industry. A selection that doubles the number of participants compared to the previous call, and which highlights the presence of up to nine startups founded outside Spain, from countries such as Israel, USA, Portugal, France and Ireland. In fact, almost half of the startups chosen to join this open innovation program come from abroad.

The 20 startups selected will have access to a complete work and support plan together with the nine large corporations of the food industry that have promoted this edition: Mahou San Miguel, Makro, Incarlopsa, Helados Estiu, Embutidos Martínez, Platos Tradicionales, CAPSA VIDA, Vicky Foods, Grupo Arancia. To this important corporate presence will be added the relationship with 20 funds with an investment potential of more than 2500 million euros, introduced as the main novelty of this edition to boost the financing of startups.
