KM Zero launches first open innovation program driven by 6 food companies

This Friday marked the kick-off of the first open innovation and strategic investment program in Spain for startups, driven by 6 food companies -Embutidos Martínez, Platos Tradicionales (both from Familia Martínez), CAPSA VIDA (CAPSA FOOD's impact investment vehicle), Vicky Foods, Angulas Aguinaga and Grupo Arancia- and coordinated by KM ZERO Food Innovation hub, one of the main promoters of food startups in Spain and globally.

This pioneering call, which starts today and will close on June 1, seeks ten startups both national and international in seed stage that seek to scale their business and offer solutions to the challenges facing the sector such as sustainability, digitization, the new generation of proteins, health and wellness. During the presentation of the program at Sabadell Hub Empresa, the director of KM ZERO, Beatriz Jacoste, has put the focus on the industry as an ally.
