KM Zero Venturing presents its 10 selected 'foodtech' startups, after closing call for applications

GrinGrin Foods, Nora Real Food, Frankles, Nadie Sin Su Ración Diaria, Mimic Seafood, Quevana, MOA Foodtech, Sophie's BioNutrients, ANINA and ODS Protein are the 10 startups selected from over 150 applications submitted to the first KM ZERO Venturing call. This is the first open innovation and strategic investment programme for foodtech startups in Spain, launched through the alliance of 6 food companies from different sectors - CAPSA FOOD, Embutidos Martínez, Platos Tradicionales, Vicky Foods, Angulas Aguinaga and Grupo Arancia - and also under the coordination of KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub, one of the main promoters of startups in our country and globally.

"This first KM ZERO Venturing call has been a great success. More than 150 startups from all over the world, mainly from Spain, Latin America and the United States, have presented solutions to the main challenges facing the food system, such as sustainability, digitalisation, health and wellness, and complementary proteins. Both the corporations and ourselves and our network of experts are eager to start working with the selected startups, as they are a key player in the transformation that the sector is undergoing, and this programme can accelerate their consolidation and their successful arrival on the market", says KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub CEO Raúl Martín.
