Valencian startup Aldea Energy raises 250,000 Euros to expand collective self-consumption

Aldea Energy, a Valencian startup created to democratise renewable energy and make it affordable for all Spanish families and businesses, has raised 250,000 euros to tackle the first phase of its national expansion and expand collective self-consumption to all towns and cities.

The collective self-consumption model offered by Aldea Energy consists of installing solar panels on rooftops that will generate energy for private homes or companies within a radius of 500 metres, although in the coming weeks this distance is expected to increase to 2 km, without them having to make any initial investment. This is achieved thanks to a subscription model offered through the group's own marketing company.
