Valencia's startups seek their space as an entrepreneurial benchmark in health and wellness

"We are better off than we were 20 years ago, but I hope that in 10 years we will realise how much we have improved", says the president of Startup Valencia, Juan Luis Hortelano. The association he presides, with more than 200 associates and 18 partners, has been one of the most interested in attracting the South Summit event to Valencia, in the presentation of which he participated this Tuesday.

Under the title Health & Wellbeing, the vertical of the Madrid event will arrive in Valencia on 3 and 4 November, but it is already warming up in the Veles e Vents building, its stage. There is a clear desire among the agents of the ecosystem to meet again, after months of virtuality and remote work, especially now that the entrepreneurial València is experiencing a sweet moment. It is also important not to lose steam: "We all need the petrol of the investor", warns María Benjumea, founder of South Summit.
