More than one third of Valencian startups founded by women

More than a third of Valencian startups have been founded by women. Specifically, 40% of innovative and technological companies in the Valencian Community have at least one female co-founder in their team. This is according to the report of the Startup Observatory of the Valencian Community prepared by Startup Valencia.

In addition, of the nearly 1,100 startups registered in the Observatory, 80% claim to be committed to gender equality and the empowerment of women as part of the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations.
