Resolution of the call for the stand at 4YFN - MWC Barcelona 2022

RESOLUTION CALL FOR SELECTED FACILITATING AGENTS FOR THE 4YFN STAND, MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS BARCELONA 2022 FAIR

 

VIT Emprende has selected 10 facilitating agents to form part of the València Activa stand from 28 February to 3 March at the 4Y4N fair at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This call is an initiative that responds to the institutional desire for the stand to be a space that makes visible the entrepreneurial fabric that València offers, in particular to startups, and thus generate an attraction for companies from all over the world to settle and develop their activity in our city. 4YFN at the Mobile World Congress is one of the most important international events in the startup sector.

A total of 16 applications have been submitted within the opening period and one outside it. It has been published on the VIT Emprende website since 21 January 2022 with the following requirements:

Requirements to apply for the call:

 

• To be an entity facilitating startups within the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship in Valencia. Facilitating entities are understood to be: accelerators and incubators, startup, investment or sectoral associations.
   
• Be part of the VIT Emprende network. The representatives of the requested entities can/must register, free of charge, at the following link.
   
• Have fiscal and/or social address in the city of Valencia.
   
• Not be represented at the event to date.

All requested information should be sent to the following e-mail address: vitemprende@valenciactiva.es by Friday 28 January 2022 at 12 noon. Specifying the following data:

1. Name of the organisation.
2. Names and surnames of the possible persons who will travel.
3. Position they hold in the organisation.
4. CNAE of the organisation.
5. E-mail, telephone number and full address of the organisation
6. Proposal for participation, including the information detailed below, and attaching the corresponding documents:

• Number of startups supported during the year 2021.

• Facilitation and/or support programmes for startups during 2021.

• List of collaborations with public and/or private entities, whether for-profit or not-for-profit, open to members of the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

    7. Submit the requested supporting documents.

    8. Letter of commitment, signed by a representative of the entity, accepting participation in the event in the following terms:

Availability to remain at the fair on the days the event is held during the opening of the site to the public.

To provide the necessary resources for the travel, accommodation and meals of the people from the organisation who will be travelling to the event.

Subsequent delivery of an evaluation report on attendance at the event.

 

Selection criteria:

For the configuration of the València Activa stand, a distribution will be established between the different agents that is as representative as possible of the innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city. The following criteria will be taken into account:

1. Support for the creation, acceleration and/or consolidation of startups during 2021.
2. Commitments acquired with the city of Valencia.
3. Order of application
    

 

Endowment:

The selected facilitating entities will have a space within the València Activa stand. Each stand will be provided with 2 tickets. 

The entities that finally do not obtain a place will remain as reserves and will be provided with up to 2 tickets for the event.
 
This next edition, 4YFN will be held within the GSMA Mobile World Congress, multiplying the impact and visibility of the Valencian ecosystem.

The selection of companies and professionals to have a stand at the 4YFN of the MWC 2022 will be carried out by the technical staff of Entrepreneurship of the València Activa Foundation. 

In accordance with the indications detailed above and complying with the requirements to obtain the exhibition space, the facilitating agents selected in order of arrival are:

Applications rejected:

15. CAR GREEN does not meet the requirement of being a facilitating agent, understood as: accelerators and incubators, start-up, investment or sectoral associations.

16. PONS IP, does not meet the requirement of being a facilitating agent, such as accelerators and incubators, start-up, investment or sector associations.

17. FLORIDA CENTRE DE FORMACIÓ, out of time.

No appeal may be lodged against this proposal, as a procedural act, in accordance with the provisions of article 112.1 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October.
