We select technologies for the Show Tech area of the VLC Tech X-Perience 2023
CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE SHOW TECH ZONE OF VLC TECH X-PERIENCE 2023 EVENT
València Activa, through VIT Emprende, puts, one more year, the Town Hall Square at the disposal of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and Valencian talent during the VLC TECH X-perience event, to be held on the weekend of November 11 and 12.
It is an event that seeks to transfer to the citizenship the advances that are achieved through innovation and the implementation of the latest technologies. It is intended with this event that citizens know firsthand how technology is revolutionizing the present, they are able to touch and see it with their own eyes.
In addition, it is also intended to reach young people, so that they know everything that is happening in research centers, universities and technology companies and thus awaken their interest in these new professional profiles that are increasingly in demand and open their minds to creativity. Under these premises, the Town Hall Square will be filled with activities for all ages, in an event where technology, innovation and talent will be the protagonists.
Therefore, we open the possibility of collaborating with this event to entities that want to show an innovative and technological product or show initiatives related to technology, science and innovation to all citizens.
Criteria for selection:
1. Purpose
We are looking for proposals from entities that want to show their technology to citizens in an experiential way. In the case of technologies that cannot be physically approached, there is also the possibility of a demonstration on stage.
2. How, where and when to send the application:
They should send a content proposal specifying logistical, infrastructure and security needs until next October 5, at 23.59 hours to the email address vitemprende@valenciactiva.es
3. Requirements to apply for the call:
- Send a general application containing a description of the organization and its activity, a contact person (name, telephone and e-mail) and a brief report containing the proposed content specifying the logistical, infrastructure and security needs of the technologies presented.
- Send a letter of commitment, signed by a representative of the entity, accepting the participation in the event under the following terms:
- Availability to remain at the event for the entire duration of the event, with the exhibition of the selected technology(ies). The indicated schedule will be Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- To have the necessary permits to carry out their activity.
- Attach the logo in .png format or editable, also attach, if available, the logo in negative.
- Sign the acceptance of the data protection policy and the transfer of image rights.
4. Endowment
València Activa provides the selected entities with spaces so that they can show their technologies to the public and demonstrate them on stage during the VLC TECH X-perience event.
5. Selection criteria
The selection of the proposals to have a space in the Show Tech area of the event "VLC TECH X-PERIENCE 2023", will be carried out by the technical staff of Entrepreneurship of the Fundación València Activa, according to the following criteria:
Priority will be given to those proposals that have a greater technological and innovative component, as long as it meets all the requirements listed above and provides all the documents in the required formats.
*If the required documentation is not provided in the application, it will be requested as soon as possible, and if it is not provided, the space will be given to another initiative.
The rest of the applications will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, in case there are still spaces available, or if there is a waiver among the selected technologies.
6. Communication of the selection
The selection resolution of the selected technologies will be published on the vitemprende.es website once the application period is over. In addition, we will contact the beneficiary entities to inform them of the characteristics and conditioning of the space (m², access to electricity, etc.).
7. Safety and limitations
The beneficiary entities will be responsible for damages caused to third parties as a consequence of their activity, both by themselves and by the personnel under their charge, and must compensate any damages caused to third parties. For this reason it is necessary to have a minimum civil liability insurance of 100,000 euros.
