The ecosystems of Valencia, the Basque Country, Galicia and Andalusia, within the framework of the Tech Spirit Barcelona initiative, which arose after the cancellation of the MWC and the 4YFN, are organising #TheOthersBCN20, a joint event to give visibility to these other hubs and their entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Coworking city
Desk, chair, computer and table light. At Ikea, a minimum of office furniture is less than 100 euros. But of course, it's not the same to work alone as to work with other professionals, whether from your sector or not, with whom you can talk, establish synergies, create collaborations and have coffee at the door. Because coworking is also networking. You know this from the many that have opened in recent years in the city of Barcelona, which now totals almost a hundred. València is behind it with a firm commitment to making these spaces the base for technology companies and innovation entities.
València is preparing a project to have the sea strip declared a technological enclave
The city of Valencia is looking more than ever at the seafront to turn it into a technological pole where startups and large innovative companies can come together. Although this project has been constantly on the table during the last two legislatures, now the regional legislation is blowing in the right direction so that, finally, the pretensions of the Economic Development area will come to fruition.

Forinvest 2020 heats up engines to make Valencia the financial centre of Spain
Forinvest will once again turn the Valencian 'city' into the financial centre of Spain on the 3rd and 4th of March. This will be the thirteenth edition of this pioneering national event, which has become the largest financial-business networking space in Spain. It is worth remembering that the starting gun will be fired the night before on the Night of Finances, which this year will feature Ignacio Sánchez Galán, president of Iberdrola.
New funding proposals for startups
When looking for funding, a startup has to evaluate all available options. The good news is that there are more and more alternatives to choose from according to the different stages of the organization. What seems clear is that, in the initial stages, banks have little to say. Unless you have robust capital to back you up, chances are they won't give you the money you need, no matter how much 'tiger look' you get when you display the power point. If there is still no product, as is often the case, and no billing, it is preferable to tell the neighbours about the business idea rather than the banks.
